The residents of Alaska pay no sales or income tax. Thanks to taxes on Big Oil, each man, woman, and child gets an annual four-figure check from the government of Alaska ($3,269 this year) even if they don't work a day in their life. Idaho? No, Udaho!
When I came home last night, Glenn told me of the latest news of the evening, Senator Larry Craig's bathroom adventure. I immediately hopped online and turned on MSNBC to find out more details.
